About Bloei bloemen: florist in Rijnsburg

Behind Bloei bloemen is José, the face of this flower shop for more than eight years. Her love of flowers started small, but people soon saw a creative mind in her: someone with more in her than just working with flowers.
“Would you like to help with an online flower shop?” someone asked… and voilà: bloeibloemen.nl was born. It has since grown into a blooming business making bouquets, flower boxes, flower subscriptions, wedding flowers and funeral flowers.

What makes José's style special? She dares to combine. Colours where you think: “Do those go together?” And then it turns out to be just right. It's those unexpected combinations that make her work unique. And you notice that as a customer too: especially with wedding or funeral flowers, she loves to think along with you. Not standard, but personal. Because flowers should stand out, touch you and say something.

José is happiest among the flowers, hands at work, surrounded by colours, ribbons and piles of ideas. She finds making funeral flowers especially rewarding. Being able to create something beautiful that truly suits someone at such a vulnerable moment always stays special.

Luckily she doesn't do it alone. For five years she has worked with Romée, who was once asked to come and help… and never left. Romée is every bit as creative and loves working with seasonal flowers. Whether it's the first ranunculus of the year or full peonies in June, every season brings something new, and that gives her fresh energy every time.

What do they share? A love of flowers, an eye for detail and, just as importantly, plenty of fun. Because in between making bouquets, flower boxes or a beautiful bridal bouquet, there's a lot of laughter. Loud laughter, too.
